Routine Operation

Daily Monitoring: Check voltage levels, current loads, oil temperatures, and winding temperatures.

Preventive Maintenance

Monthly Checks: Perform thermal imaging scans to spot loose, overheating electrical connections.
Quarterly Testing: Measure insulation resistance, Earth resistance and inspect lightning arresters and Earth pit, ground connections.
Half-Yearly Servicing: Test circuit breaker operating times, contact resistance, and SF6 gas or air pressure.
Annual Overhauls: Sample and test transformer oil quality, clean dirty insulators, and check DC backup battery capacity
